Mail Server software under Windows NT 4.0

I want to set up an email server in my old NT4 box. What I want to do is to have this box to check every email account, retrieve the messages and store them. Later, each machine in the LAN will look for their messages on the mail server. Is there a free/cheap software able to do this? Have in mind that this is an old machine (Pentium 133MHz, 32MB Ram, 1GB HD), but it still runs NT4 very well. I don't need a full features communication and collaboration tool like MS Exchange Server or something like it.

EDIT: I forgot to mention, we have over 10 email accounts, some of them web based (Hotmail).
