if I have a pop3 mail account at my house and the address is as follows:

incoming - mail.isp.com
outgoing - smtp.isp.com

do I need to change any of the addresses if I take my laptop to another location...say my office [who has a different ISP]?

Pretty sure the incoming mail should still work at least. Some ISP's SMTP servers only work when you have one of their IPs though (i.e. using their dialup/broadband/whatever).

Edit for typo.

Your outgoing mail may be restricted by your ISP. I know roadrunner has done that. If you are using the same ISP while on the road, should be no problem.

Some ISP lock the SMTP servers to their own, so you may need to change the SMTP to whatever ISP you're using.
