Every seat counts. It may not be the huge backlash some of us wish it would be, but if Obama keeps up his current act that'l happen sooner or later regardless. God help him if he passes some sort of amnesty bill without cracking down on illegal immigration first.

IIRC that was for emergency treatment only. IMO that's justified, as it's hard to tell if a person's illegal or not in the moment, and by the time you figure it out it could be too late. However, I do have problems with abuse of said system. If the condition isn't immediately life threatening, it shouldn't qualify as "emergency treatment".

Point being, that if Reagan 8, Bush 4, Clinton 8, Bush 8, didn't deal with this, somehow this will be the end all of Obama?

/go after those who provide the jobs, then you'll see some progress on the illegal front....

The reason is because Obama sees himself as a "citizen of the world" more than prez of the USA (who he doesn't even like). Obama doesn't see himself as a "black" president either which is why just one day after inauguration he was reminding people he was a "mutt" (his term)..

Obama threw his US black brethren down the well to seem cool to Muslims and apologetic whitey socialists. Keep in mimd Obama was going to crush working blacks with cap and trade energy costs.

Only bad guys gain under Barry's illusory models.

That would mean at the very least enforcing existing law. Are you in support of that? The follow up question is, should we selectively enforce only certain parts of the existing federal law, or the whole thing?

With the current political climate, largely spurred by Arizona, yes it very well could be unless he accomplishes something big afterward. Obama also has a reputation for being weak at this point. He comes out strong in speech, weak in action, and that track record is starting to show. Not cracking down on illegal immigration would just be icing on the cake.

I'm all for increasing the punishments for those who hire illegal immigrants, but that doesn't change the fact that existing federal immigration law should be enforced, and that the federal government is dong a pretty shitty job of it at our southern border. Personally I wouldn't mind a huge-ass wall across the trouble areas of the border. The Romans did it, the Chinese did it on a massive scale, Israel's done it, hell the Soviet Russians did it. It may not be pretty, but it does the job. Would also help to crack down on drug trafficking.

As a Centrist, despite some of my leftist leanings, I can safely say that this is a prime example that Bill Maher is a douchebag.

Black President, White President, Democratic President, Republican President....still the fucking President. Bill needs to get over himself...

He's made similar criticism of Obama before, but didn't use "Black". He basically wishes that Obama would start being a Dick or worry less about being nice in order to get things done.
