I think the only difference between the M and non-M revision is that the dustcover doesn't snap onto the bottom of these like it does on the newer release. There may be other differences, but that is the one I know about. Consensus is that these PMags are among the best you can get for your AR.

Add sales tax if you are in TX, free shipping.

Pmags ARE the best. $9 a mag is a bit cheaper than normal, good deal.

For the crowd, "pmag" in this case stands for "polymer magazine". Polymer being plastic, and lighter than steel.

And, yes, these are very good.

In for 1 was going to get 3 or 4 more with the window from cheaper than dirt for 17 + shipping but at 9 dollars a pop I would rather have a few more without windows.

Also JDMnAR1 is right the only big difference is you can't snap the dust cover to the bottom.

Also, the ribbing is a little different and no windows so you have to keep count in your head.

Are you sure that's the only difference? I thought that the Gen 1 mags didn't feed quite as surely (different follower maybe)?

Great deal nonetheless.

Might pick a few up, I get most of my PMags from Aim Surplus for $14.21 shipped.

*edit*
Bravo Company (makers of BCM) has 30 round Rev-M PMags w/window in Foliage Green for $11.95/each.

Good deal on good mags. Add the Magpul Dynamics Art of the Tactical Carbine DVD I for $35 and you will get some excellent instruction on how to use your weapon effectively.

Even the 1st gen pmags have the anti tilt follower and out of my 20 or so of them I have no feeding issues with them.

That's cheap. I paid ~$14/ea for mine, but I'm not sure which generation they are.

I've got some of the first-gens and haven't had problems with them, although my Aero Precision lower has a magwell that's a bit too tight to fit PMags, so you have to tap it in pretty firmly to make sure it seats properly.

As for the follower and feeding issues, that's one of the primary benefits of the PMag vs. every other mag that I know of. The PMag has a constant internal radius from top to bottom, so the follower (and the loaded rounds, for that matter) never hits the "kink" in standard-style mags where it transitions from straight to curved. It's smooth sailing through the whole mag. The internal geometry is different from the external geometry, which is one thing I don't think they ever could have accomplished with a metal mag. This is also one of the benefits of standard aluminum 20-round mags; they are straight, so they don't have the transition area. The original AR mags were 20 rounds, and the 30-round mags came later and added a little drop in the platform's reliability. There have since been multiple redesigns of the standard follower to fix this problem. The PMag does an end-run by eliminating the problem where it starts, in the magazine body itself. Of course the PMag follower has some anti-tilt refinements as well, because the "kink" isn't the only place where followers can have problems, but of course it's tuned to the PMag's other refinements. Overall the entire PMag is very well-engineered as a more reliable system than standard mags.

Got mine today and every thing looks ok. 10 mags all new in packaging. Now all I need is the rest of my rifle ;-). Wish I would have seen the green ones kabob983 pointed out before I ordered would have paid the extra for the windows. But I have more then enough mags now.

I dun care much about the window myself, more curiosity than anything.

What parts of your rifle are you lacking?

Go here to see a DIY post on how to make your own windows in your non-windowed PMAGs.
