At least they kept TC as a black guy and Rick as a white blonde haired guy.
 
I have to assume they'll work in an asian woman in short order. That would check all of the diversity boxes.

Would make sense to have an asian woman in Hawaii anyway. Grace Park, are you available?
 
Reboot, Reboot, Reboot...it's all the networks do anymore. They've lost any creativity they once had. The cable channels are no better. Look at all the fucking "reality" shows we've been handed instead of quality programming...

Reboots work. Roseanne was doing great until she sunk the show, MacGyver is entering its 3rd season, Hawaii 5-0 in its 9th, Odd Couple lasted 3 seasons, One Day at a Time going to 3rd season, Battlestar Galactica, various Star Treks, SWAT, etc etc etc. There are probably about a dozen more old series being rebooted for the 2018 season. Christ, look at the movie box office returns for the last 10 years. About 90% of the top 10s have been sequels and movies in a series. Nobody watches anything new anymore, it's all name recognition because short attention span idiots want to know the characters and the storylines in advance.

It's not the networks, it's what the markets demand now.

People will watch any bad show nowadays. They all look really bad....all the promos have me dreading the new season.
 
I wonder if this means that they'll bring back the A-Team or Airwolf as well.

I'd actually watch those remakes if they were done by AMC and they made them a bit grittier than the original.
 
Okay...they've successfully rebooted Battlestar Galactica. Why not Buck Rogers?

Don't care for Magnum PI old or new.
