Some non-political events to start the weekend: last night, a magnitude 6.8 earthquake, with a magnitude 4.9 aftershock hit the city of Marrakesh. Death toll has quickly climbed from ~300 last night to >1000 this morning, and sadly, it will probably continue to rise, given both the very old buildings and the lack of earthquake-resistant building in this region that is not prone to earthquakes.
