Magnetic Spot on Monitor..help?

I just recently bought a Sun Microsystem 19" Flat Screen (Sony Trinitron tube) monitor, used. Everything is great except the lower left hand corner, right around the start button, there is a magnetic blotch, like a darker discoloration. When degauss, it goes away for a second and then comes back. There is nothing magnet near the monitor, and the strange thing, if I tilt the monitor up it goes away.

I actually bought one from Happ controls a few years ago , it is a nice thing to have around as I have repaired many magnetic
CRT problems for friends and family.
