Magical fairy cloud ships to defend against global warming

Ships with giant funnels which travel the world's seas creating more clouds to deflect the sun's rays could help cut global warming, say scientists.

The project, which is being worked on by rival US and UK scientists, would see 1,900 wind-powered ships ply the oceans sucking up seawater and spraying minuscule droplets of it out through tall funnels to create large white clouds.

It's at least better than the idea of sending in trillions of little discs into the atmosphere to act as shields, which I heard some idiots going on about a year or two ago.

Oh, no mention of what additional clouds will do to rainfalls in various areas, many of which on the globe I'm sure already receive more rainfall than they want. Maybe we can wash out some peasants or something. Or destroy some more crops from oversaturation.

Ideas such as this are not going to be implemented any time soon. There is a lot of opposition to this type of thing due to the Unknown consequences they would entail. However, if things get real bad, some such schemes will likely be attempted out of desperation.

And we can name all 1900 of the cloud ships the boondoogle, it would be cheaper to train monkeys to use squirtguns, or maybe end whale hunting and we all know what they used to say about whales, there she blows.
