Magic win: 100-92. Take a 3-1 lead over the Pistons!

i figured mcgrady would carry the magic over the pistons. the east is so chock full of crappy teams anyone can come out of it.

so fsking frustrating.

Throughout the year we've played great under pressure. I don't understand why we've been playing so bad. Obviously it's because we're having trouble scoring, but damn. I think we were getting to caught up in the fouls and non-calls.

The Pistons are at their best when they're moving the ball around and find the open man for a J or layup. This series, when the pressure was on to score, we were doing so much one-on-one isolation. Even then, I don't feel like we utilized Corliss and Rebracca in the post enough. Man, Rick Carlisle is a great coach, IMO, but I can't figure out what's he's doing.

Arg. The Magic played awesome today. The epitomy was when Darrell Armstrong threw up that last second shot off the inbound pass and it went in 🙁

actually, the fact that the rest of the Magic are playing their roles, is going to bump the Magic to the second round. T-Mac scored 46 on a losing effort and scored "mortal" numbers in the past two victories, proving that he can't do it by himself.

I'm frustrated as well, I thought the Pistons were going to the Finals this year. Who knows, they still may win this series, but it's extremely unlikely at this point.

I'll say though, there were a ton of BS calls in the first half against the Pistons.

That's gotta be frustrating, but the Magic were defintely hot today!

well on a good note, this the worst i've seen the Pistons play all year, and they're not losing by a big margin. I've gone to many of their home games and watched a bunch on TV. it's frustrating because I've seen them play SO much better all year. Heck, they had the best record in the East (i know the East sucks, but that means at least they were consistent all year long). I think they are "mentally" taking themselves out of the game. They have the tools to detroy the Magic, but I think they are in panic mode too often. They are worrying so much about McGrady and not playing the great team D they've been playing all year.

I'm almost certain they'll win the next game at home. I just hope they get back in the groove.

EAST is weak. Good job T-Mac and the Magic.

Hrm .. T-Mac or Vince Carter??? Glad the Raptors made the right decision.
