You people don't have access to the Internet? I have enough junk mail in my house/room as is, I don't need another giant paper tower.

It's fun to actually get mail that you like. Besides, I dont have a laptop anymore, and I need something to read in the bathroom.

That's where the video iPod comes in.

Wired
Business 2.0

Magazines are great for short plane rides. And bathroom reading.

Regarding Reader's Digest: I really liked it when I was a kid. Then when I grew up I realized that everything in there was written to appeal to someone with the mental capacity of a 12 year old. (The jokes are still funny though.)

Best Magzines.

Stuff
FHM
Maxim
Maximum PC
Wired.

The first 3 are excellant bathroom reading material and usually last a few weeks as you cant read every little cool article in one sitting

national geographic is a good one. science journal is another i like.

PC Magazine used to be okok, but they overdid it with the advertisments. i can read it online for free with adds or i can but the magazine and get even more adds. if i pay, i expect less adds.

Stuff, FHM, and Maxim were cool when they first came out. But after a while, they got really boring. Soon, I didnt even read them anymore. I just skimmed through the pages for hot pics. Now I dont even do that. I just toss em aside.

First three are rubbish. I signed up for free subs to those 3 years ago and they keep sending them... it's like a plague. they have maybe 5 seconds of good material in them combined each month. If you are going to read a men's magazine, go for the real deal and get playboy. Pictorals aside, it has genuinely entertaining or informative articles.

Anyway, my picks are:
Wired
Pop Sci
Fortune
Discover

But I no longer subscribe to wired because the internet site is quite good.
