Not really.. it's where all the Nazi's fled to after WW2.

That's their plan for escape with America's wealth.
They also have completely screwed up their economy by guess what? Playing with interest rates on a political basis.

Donnie will bail out certain Americans-his voters. I can pretty much guarantee Donnie and his lackies will bail out farmers big time well before the next election. Trump's Tariffs (C) have directly caused financial devastation to soybean, wheat and corn growers (and to a lesser extent meat producers). Those farmers are smart enough to know Donnie caused this problem bit would probably forgive him if they get saved by a bailout (non-socialistic, of course). The costs of such a bailout would, of course, be added to the deficit-GOPs have all pledged to NEVER raise taxes and Donnie needs all the tariff monies for his private army and for grift.

Read up on the Argentinian president and you can piece together why

- 1000%, Milei is an Austrian Economics darling for implementing a bunch of "right-wing" bootstraps reforms in Argentina that are, somewhat predictably, making a bad situation worse.

Throw in some very questionable government stats about how everything is going OK while the people on the ground get poorer and more unemployed and it's a shitstorm waiting to blow.

Couple months ago reddit was getting turfed and all I could see were articles about Argentina's "miraculous" economic turn around. How those pigeons have come home to roost.

Trump, Greatest Asshole-in-Chief of all time, probably wants to bail out Argentina because there's probably still a Nazi-refugee community still living there.

Otherwise, the MAGA themselves would protest, because they think Argentina is "Mexico". All the places south of Mexico are "Mexico".

Speaking of unforgivable IGNORANCE and delusion, President Asshole broke the record twice in the last two weeks for embarrassing the country in front of the entire world and -- rather than "Great Again" -- driving the American reputation lower than crocodile piss. First, with his state visit to the UK and his rambling nonsense remarks in front of the British Royalty and their other guests. Second, with his discursive and absurd blather at the UN.

I don't care what happened to Charlie Kirk. I've had it "up to here", I'm mad as hell, and I'm not going to take it anymore!

After those UN remarks about "immigrant invasions" in all the prosperous countries, what do you think inspired the killer or killers who attacked that Dallas ICE facility this morning? As if cruel and extreme deportation policies weren't enough.

UPDATE: So now the news tells us that the shell-casings or bullets in the Dallas attack were inscribed with "Anti-ICE" words. So why were two deportees injured, one killed, and no ICE agents harmed?

We underestimate the global right wing.

The
@USTreasury
stands ready to purchase Argentina’s USD bonds and will do so as conditions warrant. We are also prepared to deliver significant stand-by credit via the Exchange Stabilization Fund, and we have been in active discussions with President Milei’s team to do so. The Treasury is currently in negotiations with Argentine officials for a $20 billion swap line with the Central Bank. We are working in close coordination with the Argentine government to prevent excessive volatility.In addition, the United States stands ready to purchase secondary or primary government debt and we are working with the Argentine government to end the tax holiday for commodity producers converting foreign exchange.

LOLOL in other words, Bessent: “we fucked up bigly with those stupid tariffs that wrecked our soybean industry, and then we fucked up biglier by extending a lifeline to Argentina in effect financing their soybean deal with China, so now we’re politely paying them more money and asking them to stop free trading with China…but it’s too late as the next 12-24 months of Chinese imports are already booked.”
