MAG 17" .27 CRT

you think as a monitor for a backup PC????

.27 dot pitch is way too big, don't bother.

I've looked at them side-by-side at BB with other more expensive
.25's and see hardly any difference. At $90 after MIR it appears to be
a good deal........Greg

My friend had one, it was a pretty good monitor, nothing special but not terrible either.

I remember back in the day I paid $289.00 for a MAG 17" monitor...
And that was a good deal....

Well...you spend $90 for the thing and it lasts only a year (1 year warranty).
A year from now that other 17" .25 monitor will only cost $100, rather than
$175...........Greg

For 17" I wouldn't use anything more than .23 dot, .25 is still large. 19" I try to get .20, .27 is ugly plain and simple.

I'd get the Samsung 753DF. It's only $149.00 after the $50.00 MIR and has a .20 dot pitch. A MUCH better buy IMO.
