Mafia Game #9, Begins Monday the 30th

The rumbling in the square gets heated. The mob, mindless as it may be, has chosen a victim. Zokudu, penguinpower, storma, lean l, dustb0wlkid, jujufish, LUCYMONO, Elfenix, and a Drum all grab DIXYCRAT, kicking and screaming as he is, and tie him to a large oak cross in the center of town.

"How do we kill him, if he is one of the beasts?"

Someone notices an elegant silver blade tied next to the beam. Like madmen, each member of the mob in turn grabs the blade in plunges it into dixycrats chest. 9 stabs later and he is very dead, his red human blood pouring out on the dirt ground of the town square.

Dixycrat, the Town Priest, is dead! R.I.P.

as for the first was lightrider which changed vote later and thus making lean_l to have more
so lightrider is more or less inocent.

Everyone gathers back in the square the next morning. Everyone except alive. His corpse is discovered tucked in an ally. Bite marks from some huge beast have allowed all of his blood to pour out.

Alive the Mason Leader is dead! R.I.P.

Only one death overnight, interesting. And it was the mason leader, who could have died recruiting and may not have been the target of the werewolves. But if that's the case, then why didn't the mafia get a hit? I only see one protection role, unless I'm misreading something.

I've marked ALIVE's death as a wolf kill in the spreadsheet, though that could have been a recruiting death.
 
[I feel I should clarify something, since it may or may not be important to the night actions of last night.

The Warden role takes precedence over all others, if you are jailed none of your other actions take place.

Otherwise, your actions all occur if they possibly can, even if you are killed. Not going to confirm or deny either way, but hypothetically ALIVE may have recruited someone before being killed. Or he may have been killed because he tried to recruit the wrong person.

This is particularly important if this occurs later in the game, regarding investigators and certain evil roles. For example-

Mafia Muscle
*If investigated or recruited, kills the investigator or recruiter. However, your role is revealed when this happens.


If the Mafia Muscle player is investigated, and the investigator is target-killed by wolfs or mafia, the Mafia Muscle is still revealed to all.


Hopefully this will prevent any confusion in the future.]
 
Well, crap!!! Looks like us townies arn't going to win this one.

I think that it might be safe to say that the mafia and the werewolves may have targeted the same person and that is why there was only one kill last night. But to lose our priest and our head mason. We are behind the curve. The townies can only win now if the mafia and werewolves start taking each other out.
However, I was reading through the roles and I don't like the fact that the godfather can't die. It almost makes the mafia kind of invincible.
I did like that you made it so that werewolves can't vote to lynch each other though.

The godfather can be eaten by wolves and can die by lynch if he's the last living mafia member.

If I had to rank the standings, I'd say wolves are in the best position right now and town is at the bottom. Wolves can no longer be identified by the town and will kill whoever the mafia sends to hit at night. Mafia hasn't lost anyone yet. Town has lost 2 important roles.

I read this as if lynched or attempted kill by werewolf. "He is untouchable, until the rest of the mafia are dead."
Am I right? In a way, that kinda makes him invincible until we kill 3 mafia. Since I expect this game to go quickly, (three people die every night and day) I would think that they would almost be certain to win.
 
The godfather can't be lynched, but he can be killed other ways. He is untouchable legally, but what happens after the lights go out is something else.

Will need Chiro's clarification, but I read it as he is "untouchable" by the town only.
 
The Wolves are definitely in a position of power, however, they still can't vote to lynch each other.

My randomly best guess for a wolf is PenguinPower. Anyone who does not vote for Penguin Power is going to be suspected as a wolf, especially if PenguinPower turns out to be a wolf.
 
Well, hopefully ALIVE was able to recruit someone BEFORE being killed, as the townies have little chance without the masons.

But what kind of person would've targeted ALIVE for death immediately? Or what kind of person would ALIVE tried to recruit immediately?
