Made my own WinXP RC1 screenshots

<< wait, so winxp has windowblinds-like functions built in? >>

Yes, but it's much better integrated, so it doesn't hurt stability like WindowBlinds does, and it doesn't use all that much extra RAM or CPU speed. About a 15MB idle ram use difference between WinXP (some beta I had 3 months ago) and Win2k. And it wasn't all that much speed difference either.

And you can disable it if it does hurt your performance to much.

I like the Metallic theme as well, though I'd find a better wallpaper.

PS: This should be in the OS forum 😉

window blinds is kind of a windows makeover app. that's the best i can describe it. try heading over to windowblinds.com, maybe they have a couple screenies for you.

AMD, mind if I use your HTML source ? I have a few of my own that I would like to show off (I am using the BLUE theme)

<< Ack! I don't like that new taskbar, please tell me thats a theme and not the default look >>

The default theme is what you see in the pics, but in blue instead of grey. You can still use the old windows look, which is like win2K...

Well, you can do if you want to, but it only took me 5 mins in FrontPage to do!

I am sure you could make something just as good 😀

I`m really more exicted by XP then Win2000,if gaming is stable then WinXP here I come.

🙂

Half Life, Flight Sim, Train Sim, Midtown Madness 2 and Colin McRae Rally 2 work for me so far.

From what I hear XP is really stable as of RC1 and very good looking IMHO

Time to microwave my WinME and Win 98/Se copies and order XP
