Anyway the Chinese engineers make a damn strong building. Fell over and stayed intact. I heard this happening before (might be the same one) and the ground was simply too saturated, moreso than they realize and it toppled.

I'm pretty sure when New Zealand builds a building as tall and big as the WTC it still won't be able to withstand structural damage caused commercial jetliners directly striking it.

Oh wait, NZ is never going to be able to build something like that. The Sky Tower is only 322 meters long, which is nowhere near how tall WTC was. See, I even counted it from ground to the top of the spire.

Speaking of the WTC, where are they at with that now? I can't recall what the plan was, if they were rebuilding it, or just making a memorial site.

They're supposed to be building a new one, but approvals for the plans of how it's going to look and be designed were taking forever. I thought they finally had a design approved, but I'm pretty sure no construction has started. So maybe it wasn't approved. I don't even know who approves that shit, lol. You better just google it.

they make ugly buildings. all the buildings around it look dilapidated. they should go next.

Wow that looks fun. I've thought of setting something like that up for my basement spider issue. I also need to try an experiment to see if spider webs conduct electricity, or if they burn like heater coils. Could use that to my advantage. :eek:

They seem to be very cookie cutter like. Think they have a few plans that are proven and just duplicate them. The issue is that maybe they're not proven for long enough. They'll all fall like dominos lol.

They're currently sucking each others dicks. Something tells me they can't get that right either. Even a project manager with severe brain damage would be able to build something over the course of 8+ years.

IF they are kept dry and contaminant free they should be good insulators.
For heating coils you want high resistance and melting point. Nichrome is best for that.

Been discussed on Opie & Anthony many times. Too much bureaucratic red tape. The goal was to have the Freedom Tower done by September 11th 2011. That's obviously not going to happen.
