Made a huge mistake moving in with a female roommate, what right do I have?

Pics of roommate?

Fact is, any female roommate will at some point have use for a convenient penis. Hopefully she is at least a 6/10 and you have a penis.

What they call live and learn.

Either pay the fee and break the least, or sublet, or buy ear plugs and ride the year out.
And next time, listen to you mother.
I suspect your mother warned you this might happen?

Having a female roomy sounds all hot and horny. Nude chick walking around after her bath. In the morning before coffee. And those nights passed out on the couch drunk and half naked.
That is the illusion men have. But reality is something totally different.
No naked chick. No half nude passing out on the couch. No horny lonely nights.
Instead, another man doing the nasty in the next room with that girl you had all those wet dreams over.
I suppose she "might" be open to a three-way. Her idea of a three-way that is....
Two guys, one gal.
Any interest in balls? Other than your own? 😉

Holy shit this was a huge mistake. Honestly, if she had plans of constantly bringing home friends and/or a guy to sleep with, she should've gotten her own place.

We're in our early 30s so we're not kids and I don't want to live like I'm in college. What are some reasonable house rules to set? We appear to have different lifestyles and preferences. I plan to have completely separate lives and not really deal with each other as that would make it simpler. I plan to contact the leasing office tomorrow to see if any options are possible during the first month.

She's allowed to bang a guy. She can bang whoever she wants.

OP, at your age I thought you would already know this. Do not move in with a woman you would like to sleep with! It can only end badly!

I lived with her temporarily before and she never brought anyone over so I thought she would be a low hassle roommate. We decided to get a 2 bedroom and she constantly has friends over. On top of that, she recently met a guy and brings him over to spend the night where the walls are thin. I'm so angry that I signed a 1 year lease to live with her. We are in our first month. What can I do here? Set rules or move out?

It's a violation of most lease terms to have visitors for more than X days in a year; half of those should be your days.

Rules are one thing, prefered lifestyles are the other, if she is messy as you said so(yes someone who brings many friends over every day and has no respect to others during the night is really messy person), she won't go by any rules. Just tell her to stop doing crap and if she refuses than move out.

I am really glad I live alone and don't have to put up with any of this!(age 25).

Overnight visitors, maybe. I think the OP is saying people who just come over and _visit_.

Sounds like the OP didn't realize that his new roomie actually has a life. I guess that must suck.

You don't know the OP per se, how did you find out his life is worse than his roommate's? Do you really believe that having bunch of annoying friends(who suck anyway) come over every day = having a life? Man, the society standards really decreased over last few years.

You're first mistake was roommate...

I'd NEVER share my environment with some other schmuck. Couldn't even fart in my own home. LOL

How long have you been a member of this forum? If you don't realize how many home-bound social misfits inhabit this place, then you haven't been paying attention.

We don't know if the friends are annoying or not. My bet would be that any people at all will annoy this guy, because he envisioned a Utopian existence where every evening it would be just him, the roomie, his cat, a pizza and some old Star Trek reruns.
