This has to be done in an hour and the first person to puke, loses.

I think I got the best of him here.

Any suggestions on what to eat for lunch to absorb the alcohol because I still plan to drive home but will definitely want to wait until I sober up.

First off, I want your job!

Second, your coworker is going to puke, while you wobble.

I'd eat lots of bread type products so they can soak up the beer.

Now if you put a disclaimer on there that you aren't allowed to pee, then you might be in trouble....

Bread, crackers, pretzels, etc. You'll win, beer is easy to keep down assuming you don't chug it all down in 5 minutes.

You should win easily. 8 bottles is roughly a power hour, no?

That said, you better hang out for a couple of hours before you get in a car.

shouldn't you at least drink 10-11 beers to be equal?

edit make sure the beer is not extremely cold or you will lose

should be 40-45 degrees

i tried doing a sixpack in 15 minutes but ended up taking close to a half an hour due to brain freeze :(

Wasn't it proven to be pretty much impossible to drink a gallon of milk in an hour? I know there's something about eating XX amount of crackers in X minutes as well, that's impossible to do.

This will be done after work so I doubt you'll still want my job.

8 bottles of beer in an hour? and this is a bet? WTF
He's a sucker for bets and says he likes milk so he thinks its easy.

BS. The stomach is ~1L in size and empties at a rate of ~1-3ml/min. When stomach capacity is exceeded, the usual response is to vomit. So, unless you've been training yourself to exceed capacity (i.e. competitive eaters), BS.

he will not be able to do the milk, that's for sure. I think you might find the 8 beers harder than it sounds too.

unless he is a skinny dude

if the guy is over 200 pounds , then 8 is not hard

I don't think I'm skinny but not fat either. I'm about 5'9" and 175lbs.

That's what I was about to say. I'd say an 18pack of beer vs. a gallon of Milk would be much fairer...and even then I'd think you're a pvssy if you threw up.

i was merely referring to the volume of the liquid

1 beer -= 12 ounces

1 gallon of milk is 128 ounces

10 beers 120 ounces

11 = 132 ounces

and typically the bet is 1 gallon of milk in 30 minutes not one hour

Yes, it't that hard. The human body can't metabolize lactose that fast.

I'd like to see someone do 8 bottles and a gallon in 1 1/2 hours.

Meat, and just a bit of it. Also, stay away from sugar.

You don't want to eat things which make you feel full (i.e. fibrous foods like BREAD, RICE, BEANS, etc.).
