Made $4k in 3 days!

Well "technically" I didn't make $4k profit because I've paid it out in payments over the last 2 years. I had $4k in equity in a Madza Tribute that I paid $20,500 for SUV in March 06 and sold today for $17,500. I paid $3k to drive it for 2 years (plus insurance). Not bad at all!

Putting this $4k toward the Silverado Crew cab I just bought my wife, which I only paid $27,499. So basically I've getting this $32,500 MRSP Silverado for $23,499. 🙂

In a couple years, I'll sell it and make a bunch of equity on this one too.

Trading vehicles is for suckers! 😀

If you make $347k a year (assuming 260 business days a year and $1333 a day), why do you post on ATOT? Seems to me you'd be busy counting your money.

347k isn't a lot of money. I know, as I can easily fit a check worth $347k in my ferrari.

No you won't, the Mazda held its value decently (as japanese cars do) the silverado will be worth like $12k in 3 years

Because SF doesn't miss an opportunity to remind us all how much he makes.

You do realize that a Mazda Tribute is built by Ford, right? It's a pretty Ford Escape....

Trucks. The new soccer mom vehicle.

Good luck holding equity in a American car. It depreciated $10k the moment you drove it off the lot.

I bought an 87 dodge k-car in spring of 01 for $500 and drove it for 2 years, sold it for $30 after it threw a rod. I got to drive it for 2 years for $470 and it was a sweet little car.
