Madden 2005 Issue

ive read issues with madden 2005 causing problems with clonecd/daemon tools installed, so i removed my daemon tools, but madden is still crashing upon startup.

it will tell me one of two things - insert proper cdrom into cdrom drive, or mainapp.exe crashes.

anyone having an issue like this? if so, any idea how to fix it? quite frustrating as i just bought this game and went to play it, only to discover this. im going to try a reinstall for now.

I am having the same problem...it doesn't exactly crash but it will not load past like 90% - I uninstalled Alcohol 120% but it still doesn't work...pissing me off...lousy EA...

i believe that is the music directory error - try renaming your 'music' folder in your madden directory to something like 'music1'. apparently there is some mp3 codec error or something. i think the mainapp.exe error ir something else.

That did not work...however when I downloaded the cracked .exe the game loaded just fine...
I am making an .ISO of the first disc to see if I can play it without the cracked .exe because I cannot play online if I use that...
