Hmm.. does EA still charge per month or whatever for online play? That's the reason I went from buying the PC version to getting the PS2 version for 2003..

This year, you get 1 year of EASO for free with Madden.

Usually every EA game comes in a 90 trial. If you buy all the games, you'll be covered...

I got Madden 2004 in the mail today. It's 2 cds and it's fun as hell!

Awesome, I've been craving Madden for so long, this will tie me over. I just wished they had the free online gameplay instead of the trial. I will assume that the PS2 users get free online play and voice connect like in NCAA

According to the documents that came with my PC version, you will get a free season of EASPORTS ONLINE service. Haven't tried it out yet but hopefully that means a full year free without entering a credit card.

I pre-ordered mine from EB's site, and picked overnight shipping. You get it before the stores do.
