Madden 2003 is out!

NFL 2k3 will be the best of them all. As close to perfection as a football game has gotten.

The 2K series is fun but horribly un-true to life, breaking 30 yard runs on the hardest setting was common place for me which is really FAKE.

Well its that cheap 'turn on a dime' move that makes the game so odd, you can make up to 3 or more people miss a tackle without hitting any juke button. Seeing a 300+ line man run just as fast as a half back or a wide receiver is pretty darn odd to.

Well its that cheap 'turn on a dime' move that makes the game so odd, you can make up to 3 or more people miss a tackle without hitting any juke button. Seeing a 300+ line man run just as fast as a half back or a wide receiver is pretty darn odd to.

yeah i know what you mean. the speed thing kinda sucks because you'd be home free but still get caught. guess we'll see what's up this year

Madden 2003 (PS2) is awesome! I can't wait for online play!!!

Doesn't appear that Madden 2003 on XBOX is online compatable. Gamespot magazine and videogames.com are both reporting that it isn't online. Only the PS2 Madden is online.

However, NFL2K3 is online for both PS2 and XBOX. The ESPN trademark makes this game look sweet. The offseason has been greatly beefed up and wrapped in ESPN logos making it look sweet.

How is the gameplay compared to the '01-'02 games? I had fun playing '02, but the gameplay seemed a little sluggish for me after playing 2K2 on the Dreamcast.

I too am a NFL2K fan. I think I'll pass up on Madden and buy NFL2K3.

I was a little worried that it wouldn't be available for Game Cube (which I just purchased) until I found this.

I think my favorite part about Madden 2003 is that after one year they disable online play, forcing you to buy the next installment if you want to play online.

I just read both reviews over at ps2.ign.. and NFL2k3 got a 9.2 rating while Madden 2003 got a 9.1.. From the reviews, it seems the franchise mode on Madden is a little better, graphics better on 2k3.. More gameplay options for Madden.. Damn it's going to be a tough choice..

And the latest PSM mag gives them both 9's, but gives the nod to Madden.

Either way, I don't think you can lose. I got Madden last night, and I'll probably pick up NFL2k next week.
