I played the Titans (ANTMOSKI) this evening and won a close one. I was nervous at first, thinking I was going to be humiliated. I jumped out to a 10-0 lead at half, with my D shutting down the Titans and my offense moving the ball up and down the field.

The second half was a different story. I received the ball and the Titans defense immediately shut me down, causing me to go 3 and out. The Titans then went on a drive and consumed the rest of the third quarter and a minute or two of the fourth and scored a TD, leaving the score at 10-7 (they were also helped by a BS "personal foul -- roughing" call). I started to get REALLY nervous at this point. I received the ball and went on a drive that consumed most of the rest of the clock, with key catches by Tamme, Collie, and Clark. The Titans had me stopped with a 4th and 1 at their own 40 with around 2 minutes left, so I decided (again, probably foolishly) to go for it as it was just out of FG range but probably too risky to turn it over to him with that much time. I converted but in hindsight, my D was really shutting him down on passes (with the exception of a couple) so I probably should have punted it away.

Once he was out of timeouts, I pounded him with a dose of Addai and kicked a field goal with 5 seconds left (which was probably foolish). I stopped him on the ensuing kickoff and ended up winning 13-7.

Great game Antmoski, you had me sweating big time.
 
Ugh, my Elite died last night. Shipping it to Microsoft today. I am so glad I picked up a Pro from Woot as a Netflix box a few weeks ago.

My times: Usually available Monday-Saturday after 830 or 9 central time. Saturday and Sunday during the day I may be randomly on, but its really hit or miss.

Cuda, The only other time I am going to be able to play this week is Friday night. Let me know.

Sorry guys, it's been a really hectic week. I'm tying to advance the league, but I keep getting messages telling me the EA servers aren't available (color me shocked). I'll keep trying throughout the day and advance as soon as possible.

On another note, I'm going to need someone to act as co-commissioner. Please PM if interested. I'm going to be out of town next week and again in a few weeks, so I'll need someone around who can manage things.

I was finally able to connect to the EA servers to advance to the next week. Not sure what happened. Anywho, I'm going to be out next week so Blanghorst (CheapKillsRUs) is going to commish for a while. Thanks for helping out!

I am going to try to advance the week this evening between 8:00 PM EST and 9:00 PM EST.

 
Since we had tech difficulties last week advancing the week, I decided we'll go ahead and advance tomorrow evening instead of tonight.

I think i'm going to have to drop out of the league, I've been extremely busy at work and haven't been able to find much time to play. I'll drop out tonight if I can, unless someone can kick me.

Also, can anyone access the franchise via the online franchise site? I get getting invalid credentials messages. I even reset my password to see if that would fix it, no dice.

Edit: I"ve been trying for 2 days, and just as I type this it works. I guess it's just a shitty site.
 
Unfortunately I had to drop last night. Unexpected (good) events at work and I'm not going to be available to schedule games. My schedule is going to be wacky for the next couple of months.
 
I am planning on advancing the week tomorrow at around noon EST. If anyone has issues with this time, PM me before then; otherwise, I will advance.

This week is my bye week so I am giving it one more. If I don't play a game next week I am out.

My team is now 3-4 after yet another sim loss. I have only played one game yet in this whole franchise. Last week I saw my opponent online so I sent him a message asking if he was up for a game. I didn't even get a response. He logged out and then never responded to me or even tried to message me for a game. I checked every night during the week and he had always just logged off earlier in the day. If people can't even respond then whats the point?
