i dont' like the original as much. the jules version is so much more powerful and depressing. fits the lyrics better IMO

I like all three versions of the Gary Jules cover. Each one is just slightly different. The original Tears for Fears version is great too, but in a different way.

This one gets my vote for best of 2003 (or was it 2002 that Donnie Darko was released?) Either way, this is the best version of this song I've heard (and yes, I've heard the Tears for Fears version).
