Mad magazine's shocking Obama cover: What, Barack worry?

Forget the Time magazine cover. And the New Yorker covers. And even Ebony.

For those Americans of a certain generation, Barack Obama may have been elected the 44th president. But only now has he finally made the Big Time -- the cover of Mad magazine.

Once it was the juvenile equivalent of SNL and the Onion all in one with outrageous and disrespectful jokes and drawings that would deliciously annoy any parent. It's not exactly a must-read anymore. But we had to share the latest cover with you. (Notice how the artist cleverly avoided portraying Obama's ears the same as Alfred E. Neuman's.)

Thats actually pretty funny.

But in all seriousness the guy knew what he was getting into.
It was NOT a big suprise for him. If he was stressing it was probably way back when the Democratic party first asked him to run.

It's gonna be quarterly now? Dang 🙁 Used to be one of my favoritate magazines when I was a kid.

Pretty funny. I don't know where the "shocking" comes from though.

Agreed. Shocking not found.

Double agreed. Mad did a good job, and unlike atot, managed to make some jokes that are about Obama, and not black people.

I thought it was impossible to make fun of Obama?

No its racist.

No, it's funny.

I don't see this as making fun of Obama or at all racist. If anything it is making fun of the real mess this country is in currently.
