Mad Dog 16x Double Layer DVD Writer $79.99AR

Actually the Mad Dog 16x drive is an NEC 3500A. The only thing good is that Mad Dog includes Nero 6 Express in the package. But the others are right, it's probably cheaper to buy from Newegg and get an OEM Nero from somewhere else, instead of dealing with rebates.

the MadDog is black and I almost scored one for $39.99 @ OM yesterday 🙁 I had to settle for a Khyphermedia +/- drive(20751410) which was a LTR-812s ..now an 832s 🙂 for $29.99 out the door ..as always..ymmv 😀😉

How did you get a Khypermedia 8x±RW for $29.99? I don't see any sales on OfficeMax. I'm looking for a cheap Lite-on to do Kprobe scanning of my burns.

don't see the rebate at officemax for 16x drive. In rebates section there is a rebate for 8x drive but it's not even available online to buy.

Where's the Maddog 16x 4x DL rebate?

But, it does go on sale Sunday for $79.99 after IR MIR

It would have been nice if the OP had posted the actual dates on this future sale item! Instead of saying it was good as of Friday.
