Macy's Backing Out?

After placing an order at Macys.com the other day, I received an email order confirmation which let me know that my merchandise would be shipped on 1/11/02 (today). Unfortunately, I received a second email today which stated that everything I ordered is out of stock with shipment date unknown. wtf?

Heh..I checked my tracking number and this is what UPS said:


Staus: Exception Reason: TRAIN DERAILMENT CAUSED IN-TRANSIT DELAY


WTF??? heh
 
I got the same email last time they had their end of Summer sale......their online inventory system sucks.....I did get some of the merchandise I ordered though....still a great deal.
 
bad luck for you. I got an email today with a UPS tracking number with a list of everything I ordered (surprised, last time I ordered at a Macy's sale some of the items weren't charged or shipped to me).

You probably just had bad timing when ordering.
 
i got an email saying that ALL my items were backordered. i called them today and a CSR told me that I would be receiving my items, but they would be delayed.... try calling them and seeing wat's up with that.
