Macs <-> PCs with CDRW

Does anybody know how to share data between PCs & Macs using CDRW? My own machine is a PC and the school's a Mac. It has Toast on it. But I want to be able to transfer files I worked at home and at school using something similar to DirectCD. Can Toast do packet writing?

Thanks.

Packet Writing is evil, atleast all the implementations of it so far. I would just write to them like normal CDRs then blank the disc and write a new session, it's a little more work but it has a much better chance of working.

I don't know the size of the files you are dealing with, but I've used a flash memory card (one of those USB thumbdrive things) for transferring files between my Mac and PC.

You should be fine, MacOS can read UDF/ISO CD and Toast is able to burn a UDF/ISO CD too. I do that between my college's macs and my home PC.

Ive gone from windows to linux and linux to windows, but never tried on a mac but i would assume it'd work, just dont use floppy's 🙂
