And the good news in all this:
"How long will it take to integrate Flash Player and Adobe Reader? It will be a multiyear effort. Ultimately, our goal is to combine both in a single client. Combining PDF and Adobe Reader with Flash and the Flash Player will allow us to deliver a truly ubiquitous platform that sits on virtually every device. We will build on that to create compelling customer solutions."
Too bad it will take so long. I install both plugins on my systems so having it as 1 plugin instead will be nice.
hmm, as long as it doesn't affect load times (flash player already loaded) then it really wouldn't matter. Besides load times, what do you have against Adobe Reader ?Originally posted by: ultimatebob

Great... Now they'll be trying to cram that evil PDF reader down my throat every time I visit a site that uses Flash. Dammit 🙁

I've never been too impressed with anything macromedia has made.. esp cold fusion *cough*
Flash is awesome and pretty easy to work in.
Dreamweaver is great for the WYSIWYG audience.
Not sure about their other products.
I used Cold Fusion 4.5 back when I worked for another company. It was a great product then.
Dreamweaver is the number 1 application for webdesigner professionals. to say WYSIWYG audience would be incorrect.

I don't know ANYONE who purchases Dreamweaver to do hardcoding only. That would be a huge waste of money. Notepad or wordpad would be more than enough.

I used Dreamweaver for hardcoding before moving completely to VS.Net. I used to do everything in Notepad, but simple things like color coding and advanced find/replace searches made Dreamweaver well worth the cost.
