briefly tell me what expenditure is, plz, in regards to:

"a business firm measures its flows of income and expenditures regularly..."
 
uh... expenses?

althought, in macroeconomics most of the time expenditure is observed at a broader, "macro" i.e. national level

I can't tell if you are being serious or not, but I'll wait my turn to flame in case there is some hidden technical meaning to "expenditure" in economics.
 
Yeah, I thought this was a joke question by the OP too. Unless this is the first day of Econ class in elementary school or something.
 
Macro is a joke. It is nearly impossible to aggregate things correctly in this day. Maybe in another 20 years when everything is digitized, but not now.
