what the heck is machine check exception, it causes my computer to crash with blue screen during games, e.g. counterstrike. i'm running win2k with tyan trinity 400, p3 600@800 128mb ram, scsi hd 2x, scsi 6x dvd, scsi yamaha 8x cd-rw, sb live, leadtek geforce 2.
 
Does the same thing happen when you clock your CPU back down to 600?
