I've only bought from one of these. They almost always have one thing I'm interested in, but not much more than that. I like to look, but they're typically not for me

I wanted to get in on the last one because of iSale, but missed it cause I was too lazy. I hope they have good stuff this time.

Is Squeeze any good?

This might just be a fear that stems from my Windows days... but I don't trust compression technology. I don't mind deleting files to gain space, but Squeeze allows you to select folders and it will compress the files inside but still allow you to normally work with them.

I, personally, wouldn't use it unless I was desperate.

It's free, so I'm giving it a try. I'll report back later.

Okay, tried it out.

I decided to test it out on two decently-sized folders: Movies (9.7GB) and Pictures (10GB)

I ran it for a while, probably about an hour, before it crashed and deleted the cache. It got through my whole Movies folder and freed up about 500MB. Maybe it's mean more for Applications and whatnot, but I didn't even save a GB when I ran it on my pictures/movies. YMMV.

You're not going to get a whole lot of compression on Movies/Pictures unless they're in some raw format.. as the format is usually already compressed.

I bought because of Flow and Tales of Monkey Island primarily. The rest is -eh- for me, but I'll take it :)

I'd buy it just for Tales of Monkey Island. Wish something like this would come along for PC.

Funny, I don't even have a Mac, but still keep up with the MH freebies and bundles if and when I get one. :)

The bundle seems interesting. Are people avoiding it because there are better/free alternatives out there?
