Anyone know where to pick them up for less? They dont seem to worth what they charge for them in the store for how long they last..

I saw the Shick "Quatro" at Walmart yesteday, and the blades are cheaper than the Mach ones. I might switch.

Just a one time use won't show anything, it might even hurt the first time. Use it for a whole week to make an accurage judgement of how it compares to a mach 3.

From what I saw, the Shick Quatro looks exactly the same as the Mach 3 Turbo except with 4 blades. They were selling the Razor with a few blades for $7.50.

I will wait to see a few reviews.

Mach3's usually last about 2 weeks a blade for me. I don't use the Turbo's, they're just a gimmick and I actually get a better shave out of the regular blades.

Might try the Quattro's if some people say they like em...

I like the mach 3s better than the quattros.. I don't remember getting any nicks with the 3s but get pretty bloody with the 4s ... It's much better than most razors but not as smooth as the mach in my opinion... If both were available for the same price I'd go with the machs.. Otherwise I'd get whatever's cheaper..

I'm happy if I can get a week out of one. Usually after about 5 or 6 shaves it's worthless.

I used to swear by Mach III razors and never would touch anything else. However I then bought a good electric razor from Braun and I can't believe it took me so long to make the switch. Takes half the time to shave, leave me with no rash, and more importantly no cuts, I really reccommend getting one.

well perhaps i should clarify.
the only part of my face that gets really thick is my chin.
i can get by shaving once a week. but i usually shave twice.
im not exactly a hairy guy.

Before I went electric, I used the generic 3 blade ones from wal-mart. Work ust as well IMO and weer cheaper.

Aren't you forgetting to tell us how many body parts you shave each time? lol

I bought a quatro. nothing great. It has gates on the blades to make sure you dont shave too closely though. I like the mach3 better, but the quatro is cheaper. ANother thing about the quatro is that the blade is more difficult to put on than it should be.
