After seeing these mach 3 blades being endorsed on anandtech.com I bought some off ebay. They looked truly authentic so I left the guy good feedback. The true test was when I went to shave with one. They still shave, but no where near the smoothness of an authentic mach 3; Remember I could not tell visually looking at the box or the blade, but when the razor went to the face is when I noticed. Hey this blade is counterfeit. I am not saying all are, but do a google search and find out for yourself. People will counterfeit anything to make a buck. You pay half the price for 1/10th of the performance. Ask any questions if you have any. Please take this post as a sincere gesture to warn others of the possible counterfeiting.

You know it has gone too far when you are more concerned about a few dollars more than you care about your skin.

WTF?

So now it's wrong to try and get things for the best price possible?

We're talking about counterfeit blades here. That means that people thought they were genuine, but they turned out not to be.

It's not the same as buying known cheap generic blades that fit your razor.

How could a product like that be cheaper on ebay than in Wal*Mart, a company that drives everything in it's store so low that it's ridiculous and the subject of constant liberal attacks about being 'too low?'

If it's from Gillete, why would some ebayer with a few hundred feedback have a better price than the largest retailer in the world? Think about it.

It's one thing for non-OEM cell phone parts like charges and cases -- key word being non-OEM. Something that gilette spent millions developing can't be easily reverse engineered like a cell phone charger pinout.

Do what i do....go to a university during the first week of school. They are usually giving away free stuff like Mach 3 razors. Just ask for a bunch and they will gve them to you. I must have got half a box worth last time.

I've been buying Fusion blades off of ebay with no problems thus far. And I've saved a lot of money versus purchasing them at a store.

Why would a university give out free Mach 3 blades, and where exactly did you go to get them? Health Services? I've heard of free condoms and the like, but free Mach 3?

I bought 300 Mach3 (regular) blades@ 0.85 apiece, they were unopened and the real deal. They were most likely stolen but who gives a sht? You'll never find them for that cheap anywhere.
