Gillette puts those in the dumpster, so unless they are dumpster diving, they are not rejects.

This is what makes these prices make sense.

Do what i do....go to a university during the first week of school. They are usually giving away free stuff like Mach 3 razors. Just ask for a bunch and they will gve them to you. I must have got half a box worth last time.

Why would a university give out free Mach 3 blades, and where exactly did you go to get them? Health Services? I've heard of free condoms and the like, but free Mach 3?

Univeristy does not give it away...Gillette gives it to the univeristy to give away. It's a promotional thing. each person in only supposed to get one, but the people who give them away do not care. it's like getting a free mach 3 in the mail.

@.85 apiece (yup that's including shipping) I saved $318 over a major distributor like drugstore.com. I'm laughing all the way to the bank (and the shower).

Oh yeah, forgot to mention, it's roughly a 10-12 year supply too. How much will you be paying for an overpriced razor that washes your hair, makes your dinner, and wipes your ass in 10 years? $5 apiece?

If it's from Gillete, why would some ebayer with a few hundred feedback have a better price than the largest retailer in the world? Think about it.

It's one thing for non-OEM cell phone parts like charges and cases -- key word being non-OEM. Something that gilette spent millions developing can't be easily reverse engineered like a cell phone charger pinout.

Because they're stolen, duh.

Stolen > Counterfeit, quality-wise;)

At my college the bookstore gave out a bags of free samples of all different junk at the beginning of each year. Toothpaste, shaving cream, deodorant, etc.

What Gibson is describing is
1. Probably an isolated incident, I doubt you could go to any university and get away with that
2. Probably a bit of an exaggeration.

I was kind of wondering... 300 is a LOT! :D I got 40 at least a year ago and I still have some left.

A lot more than a buck, my friend...priced Mach3 blades lately?

Exactly why I bought a double edge safety razer and never looked back.

Initial purchase will be pricey but paying 50 cents for replacement blades makes it all worth it.

Is there a place other than retail shops that sells genuine replacement blades for better prices?
