MacBook-time issues

Hi All,

The clock in my OSX has somehow gotten a little off, about 5-6 mins fast. So I went into Date and Time Preferences, only to discover that the box that says "Set Date and time automatically" is checked and grayed out so it can't be unchecked. What the heck? So I can't manually change the time, and it's "automatic" time is wrong. Any ideas?

Lower left corner of the window, "Click the lock to make changes" will trigger an auth prompt and give you access to the Date & Time controls.

LOL, that kept me confused for a whole day to sort that out on mine
