I think thats the newest base-model 13.3" Macbook Pro, so the spec-sheet is a bit off saying it has a nVidia GeForce 320m (in actuality it has the Intel Integrated HD 3000 graphics). People often criticize Apple going with the Intel HD graphics again in these latest 13" Macbook Pros, saying it is worse than the prev gen 320m.

Anyways, the $999 (its instant savings right?) price is probably the best you're going to find new, since Apple stuff never goes on sale really lol. As long as you don't expect to game heavily I think it'll be fine.

That's due to Apple changing their battery testing methodology to be more "real world use" this time around (none of that BS marketing "Hey our laptop gets 10hrs on battery!....if u turn off the screen and run Windows in safe mode doing absolutely nothing"). So battery life many say is about the same as the previous gen.

Apple has historically always had very accurate time estimates for their products. Even Anand has mentioned this several times in his reviews of apple products.

price is good until tomorrow, maybe they're OOS. Still debating!!! If the battery is 10hrs, I'd pull the plug already.
