My quicksilver is worth about 1500 bucks (1.2gb ram, 140gb space, radeon 8500 etc) plus the lcd is another 800 🙂

If I had a mac, I would definitely have something from here on my desktop.
 
Usually it's the other way 'round. People putting themes that make their Windows XP machines look like a Mac. That's ok because the interface does look good. But that's about as far as it goes with the Mac...

I got a Powerbook G3 400 (soon to be 500mhz).. my girlfriend basically uses it for Photoshop and web surfing. I'm thinking about selling it and getting an iBook with a smaller screen, 14.1" is a little much for my tiny girl =D.
 
i'm posting w/ a 800Mhz 12" snowbook w/ 384mb ram, airport... running OS X 10.2.5 6L20.

OS X rocks !
 
I own 3 Macs but they're all collecting dust in the closet.

One of these days I'll probably get an iBook or PowerBook if/whenever they're more reasonably priced.
 
I have a 1Ghz PowerBook with 1GB of RAM. It is absolutely awesome.

People who dismiss Macs and say they suck usually don't have much experience with them.

Well if a cheap mac didn't cost 2 grand maybe more people would "experience" their one button mouse.
