MAC/PC Networking....Help Needed!!

I have a question about the Macintosh wireless Airport setup. I am not
familiar with Macintosh at all. Anyways, heres the problem. My girlfriend
has 2 MACs and an Airport. She has a Road Runner cable modem shared to them.
The RR external modem goes to the Airport and then the Airport goes to the MAC
without the Airport card. The iMac with the airport card is in teh other room.
I finally talked her into getting a PC so she got one. Now I want to share the
internet to it as well and hopefully setup file sharing. I assume it would be setup
like this, as far as the diagram. http://www.tizite.com/help/diagram.jpg
I realize this may not be the cheapest way to go, but I want her network a
little more setup so that I can help maintain it (I dont know anything about Airport
or Mac). After the wiring part, I'm not sure the specs on the Airport. I don't know
if they use Static IP or dynamic(DHCP). I would like the PC to have static if possible
to setup port forwarding for webcam possibility. I'm not sure if I would have eto use
AppleTalk to get the file sharing to work or not.

I HATE networking Macs and PCs. The only part of your post that I feel remotely qualified to answer is the last bit about the Appletalk protocol. Mac OS X does not need the Apple talk protocol any longer. If her machines are running OS 9 or earlier, she will likely need that protocol.

The diagram shows a router and an Airport, which is redundant.. the Airport unit is a router in its own right, not just a wireless access point. It can (but does not have to) use DHCP, and will do port forwarding. However, you can certainly set up the network the way you have it in the diagram. If you set up the network the way you have it in the diagram, just leave DHCP on in the main router, assign your PC a static ip address, switch the Airport to bridge mode, and away you go.. As for setting up filesharing on the Mac (is it running OSX?), read the following:

http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=106471

It's not as hard as it sounds... really. Be sure to read the instructions for the Airport unit, so you know how to turn off NAT and have it in bridge mode (a Layer 2 access point).

OK, you said it was redundant.. so how could I setup her airport to the PC. A PCMCIA Card reader and PCMCIA Airport card and then it would have a wireless connection too?

Thanks.
