no, actually our school library has equal share of macs and dells, and macs only get taken up when dells are all occupied. from what i can tell, OSX felt very sluggish and unintuitive. maybe partly cuz i have been using windows UI for years, i didnt notice a single thing that makes OSX stand out for casual use.

I voted XP, because I can't really stand using OS X and Macs in general. (Still currently have a iMac w/ 10.3 on there, sold off a Powerbook G4 w/ 10.3 on there as well - the application availability and compatibility mostly broke it for me.)

OS X is a nifty OS, but until (if ever) they made it to where Windows apps will run natively on OS X, I'll choose Windows. (I didn't pay $$$ for legal licensed copies of software only to find out they don't make it in a Mac version, and have to pay more $$ for the same functionality on my Mac)
