One of the most annoying things I find on a Mac is the way mouse works. Whenever the moues pointer is near a button, it slows down from however fast it would normally be moving. This creates uneven movement which is annoying to deal with. It also means the pointer is not moving fast enough when it's near a button. The reason I select specific speed setting for my mouse pointer is because I want it moving THAT fast. Why on earth, would I want it to slow down?
Is there a way to turn this "feature" off? I use logitech MX610 wireless mouse/keyboard set, but Logitech does not have mac mouse drivers... Is there anything besides the bare-bone menu in System Preferences to control mouse settings?
