Mac Monitor

Can i use a windows monitor for a mac computer? SOrry for the silly question but my sister has been bugging the hell out of me to figure this out. I dont think so but i want to be sure. Thank sinadvance for the replies.

As long as it has the right input (VGA or DVI), yes.

but couldnt i use on of those converters that came with my Nvidia card?

which mac? older (any beige) use a different VGA setup mothing a $7 adapter wont fix. any mack that uses an external monitor in the last 5 years will work or non beige.
