1024 MB DDR SDRAM
1 GHz FSB

ATI Radeon 9600 Pro graphics
Enough slots for 5 more ram chips
Quiet as a G5 should be

Considering that the U of M has bought about 200 of these, I'm thinking more along the lines of a Bentley. 🙂

They're about $3150 each, without monitors. 1 GB RAM, Radeon 9600 Pro. 😀

There are a couple G4s with 23" Cinema Displays on campus, but not in this site.

good GOD...so they're started installing them in the fishbowl? Maybe I will visit campus this weekend...and just spend the day drooling all over the desk. 🙂

They're installing the G5s 15 at a time until the whole site is Optiplex GX270s w/Dell 1800FPs and PowerMac G5s with dual displays. Installations happen every Tuesday and Thursday morning, 15 at a time...so far, we've got 30 of them. 🙂
