Mac Flash Video Question...

it doesnt seem like a lot of people check the Apple thread so I am going to post this in here as well if that's ok. Here we go:

I purchased an older eMac to play around with OS X because I've never had a Mac and just wanted to have something to learn about OS X on. When I try to watch videos on Youtube or MLB.tv the videos are choppy and pretty much unwatchable unless turned down to lowest possible quality settings (as far as MLB.tv goes). The spec of the eMac are as follows:

Running Leopard with the latest updates
1.42Ghz G4 CPU
OCZ 2gb DDR 400 Ram
Seagate 7200.10 750gb IDE hard drive
Ati 9600 64Mb video card
Dual Layer DVD Burner

I tried updating Flash, Shockwave, and tried Safari and Firefox and they are both pretty much the same.

Can this machine seriously not handle Flash videos?? Is there some tweaks or anything I can do to make it better? The rest of the system feels pretty snappy for a 3 year old computer.

Yep, there's not really much you can do. You can right click on the flash object and set it to lowest quality, but that's pretty much all you can do.
