MAC filter question

How come sometimes (i think it is when he connects to another network or goes far away), he cant access our network?

Then, after i disable and then enable the mac filter, it works again? The address stays the same, but for some damn reason, he cant access it and its due to the MAC filter acting weird (or his computer acting weird and has something to do with the MAC filter).

any ideas?

thanks!

sounds like buggy firmware...try an update.

if not, turn mac filtering off as it provides no added security.

They do now too. Changing my MAC address is trivial.

if the password and encryption are good, then yes. if not, mac filtering isnt doing you much more than being a headache
