You don't need special CD-R discs.

You may need to use some Mac software to make an image file of the disc you want to copy, then use Nero to burn the image on your PC's CD burner. But maybe Nero or CDRWIN can just raw read the disc? Not sure about that.

Are you asking to make "backups" of your mac cds on your PC....

Use "copy cd" with adaptec or nero and you can make copies of the mac cds.... If you want to copy data from your PC HD for the mac.... Make an ISO9660 cd - macs can read those.... Remember ISO9660 cds have a limited 8 or 9 charactor names, so keep the file names simple

Actually, you don't have to worry about that. Burn as a Joliet filesystem and get the Mac Joliet CD-ROM Extension from www.tempel.org. Awesome little free thang that kicks butt and should read the discs jest fine.

It would still be good to keep the filenames to under the Mac's 32-character limit (yeah, yeah, I know, but that'll go away in a month with OSX - UNIX baby, UNIX! the way to go! :).
