I hate the ads, but I also hate smug superiority and elitism which is a big part of them. Maybe if MS would make a commercial of the PC guy snapping and taking a baseball bat to the Mac guy and saying "No so superior without your kneecaps are ya? Huh? are ya?" I would fell better

Mac ads should just say, "We're basically the same as a PC now, but we have OSX which makes Windows look like a pile of puke."

That might actually get people to go look at it, but truth in advertising just doesn't happen. 🙁

Just once, when "Mac" starts bragging about being able to run Windows aps, or making movies easier, or any of that other crap, I'd like to see "PC" reach over and slap the daylights out of him......then look down to the floor (where "Mac" is lying, groaning), and say, "Yeah, but I still own 94% of the market, don't I???" 😉

Hey, flash from the past......Justin Long, who plays Mac, was the leader of the geeky kids in "Galaxy Quest"! Guess that role just works for him, over and over, eh? LOL
