mac address?

what software cna i use to modify my mac address for my built in ethernet card?

i used to be able to use smac, but now they've made it shareware!!

buh? i thought the mac was a set thing and couldnt be altered! much like the ipod!

lol no no; for that you can just change your IP 😛

Sometimes. Some games also ban by mac address, and also by GUID, which is a made up designation for your rig based on certain hardware and software factors.

Sometimes. Some games also ban by mac address, and also by GUID, which is a made up designation for your rig based on certain hardware and software factors.

What motherboard do you have?

On my Epox 8RDA+ (nForce2) I can change the MAC address from the BIOS.

my built in doesn't support cloning; my wireless does; but thats no use 🙁
