Its not a volume is issue but i can only hear the background sounds of a mp3 (or anyother sound file) and not the voices. Well actually i can hear the voices but they sound really muffled. I using the the drivers that can with cd in the box and tried dling the new drivers at the biostar website to (filename 1108) to no avail. Please help. thanx

ive built several systems using an m7vig and they all have great sound (so its not something specific to that model)

do the speakers work fine on another system? or if you dont have another system to test them in you could always plug them into a tape/cd player
im just wondering if there is a short or something in the speakers or speaker cable

also on the motherboard did you move or do anything with the jumpers? the jumpers on "JF_AUDIO" need to be left in default position, shorting pins 5-6 and 9-10
