For me, it's just too easy to pick. Why? The Elise is far more UNIQUE than the M3 no matter how much someone says it's the ultimate driving experience. Getting that level of performance with just 200hp or whatever it has in an ultra light body is just great. I'm pretty that the handling must be really nice too because of it being so light weight.

Not presently, but they did make the E36 M3 sedan for several years. Apparently the only reason they never made an E46 M3 sedan is that the sedan and coupe share very little structure, whereas they had more parts in common on the E36.
