m3 or elise!

I would personally go w/ M3 even though elise is quite the nice car for its price. But M5 is the way to go

i said m3. it just seems more practical. and i'm a boring grown-up now. 😛

I concur - the M3 is a bona fide GT car that happens to double as a personal luxury coupe (albeit a slightly rough-riding one). The Elise is a trackday sports car that happens to be street-legal. I don't think I could fit in an Elise anyway (6'4").

can it be an M3 4door?

I don't see why not, but that changes the equation, since there is no current M3 sedan, and the E36s are much cheaper as used cars than an Elise or E46 M3 coupe. They're still awesome cars, though I've noticed a surprising number of used M3 sedans have automatics, which would be a deal-killer for me.

If I had $$$ to throw around (spending just to spend) i'd get the elise cuz no one has it
If I had to buy a car cuz I need a car, M3 it's a more sensible option

probably an m3, do u have a wife and kids? if not get the elise 🙂

be original, I always see people driving m3's be the first in your town with an elise! 😛
